Effect on rankings: none. No product is ranked higher, featured more prominently, or recommended because we earn a commission on it. Every ranking is decided before any affiliate link is added.

What we do

• We purchase every product we test at retail, with our own funds.
• Our primary e-commerce partner is GAIS commerce. We also add affiliate links to Amazon and select retailers where the retailer supports them.
• We disclose the nature of the commercial relationship clearly at the top of this page and through prominent link labels.

What we don't do

• We do not accept payment for placement, favorable coverage, or preferential review scheduling.
• We do not accept manufacturer-provided samples for ranking decisions.
• We do not run sponsored content or native advertising on the site.
• We do not operate an affiliate network that pays editors per click. Editors are compensated on a flat basis.
